The passion for creating unique leather products began early for German-born master craftsmen, Felix Endres. As an earnest, talented and athletic 16-year-old at home in the Bavarian Alps, he began fashioning and sewing his own unique line of ski and outdoor wear. Before he’d turned 30, the dedicated creator moved to the expansive foothills of Alberta, Canada, thus realizing another lifelong ambition.
Encouraged by his initial success and ongoing requests for his finely-wrought designs, Felix established a workshop in thriving High River, south of Calgary— cowboy country—where his creative experimentation grew to include western outdoor wear made from tapestry, canvas and leather, and Endres Leatherworks was born. Felix’s strong desire to excel at his craft led him to apprentice with the finest master leather workers, artisans and boot-makers in North America.
Demand for Felix’s distinctive products increased. His diverse skills continued to grow as he began designing and crafting one-of-a-kind leather belts and other functional accessories for clients with an appreciation for superior quality and originality.
